Countryside Montessori was founded in the summer of 2001 to provide a unique choice in education for the children of the Denton, Texas area.  Countryside began at the home of Director Cassidy Fuess with three students.  With a growing enrollment of 50 students, in the fall of 2003 it moved to an independent location in west Denton, Texas.  In January of 2009, the school relocated to 610 Dallas Drive.

     Director Cassidy Fuess is a certified Montessori teacher with over fourteen years experience in the child care field, over eleven of those as a Montessori teacher.  Prior to opening Countryside Montessori, she taught at a private Flower Mound Montessori school.  Mrs. Fuess also developed and lead a successful summer reading program in that area.

     Current staff include co-teachers Ms. Mary, Ms. Katherine and Ms. Crystal in our infant/toddler room, lead Montessori certified teacher Ms.Vanessa and assistants Ms. Julie and Ms. Lesa in the 18 month to 3 year room, and Ms. Cassidy, Ms. Melanie, and Ms. Gwen in the 2 1/2 years and older room.   Ms. Courtney assists the teachers.  

     Monthly potluck dinners, parent classes, and a parent/teacher group provide numerous opportunities for building relationships within our school community.  

    New parent/baby Nido classes will be added soon.   Future plans also include the addition of new classrooms and teachers to meet enrollment needs.
