The History of Countryside Montessori
Countryside Montessori was founded in the Summer of 2001 by Director Cassidy Fuess to provide a unique choice in education for the children of the Denton County area. On Countryside Drive, Director Cassidy Fuess started her school with three students and a passion to share the philosophy and methods of Maria Montessori with others.
In the Fall of 2003, the school expanded needing a new location in West Denton. And in January of 2009, the school relocated again to 610 Dallas Drive to accommodate our larger community. While we will always embrace the personal qualities of a small school, we are excited to see more families discover the Montessori philosophy and join our community. We luckily have very little turnover, and our spots fill up quickly.
To better serve our community, we are looking forward to the tentative opening of our new school location on Countryside Drive once again in the Fall of 2023. We hope to see you there.
